I was very surprised to find, after doing some research and simple math, that my trip to JFK would cost less in a Carmel car than in a yellow cab. I called Carmel and made my reservation on the phone, which was quick and easy. The operator gave me an itemized price quote, answered all my questions, and then made the booking quickly and efficiently.
Later that day, the car arrived 7 minutes before the appointed time, and the driver called to tell me he was downstairs. While he was waiting for me, he had to move his car so a large truck could get by, and he immediately called to tell me so I wouldn't worry when I didn't see him right in front of the building. He was communicative and polite, and he insisted on lifting my very heavy bags into the trunk himself even though I offered to assist.
The car was clean and comfortable, and the ride was smooth and quick and pleasant. I gave this Carmel experience a "perfect" rating, and although Carmel awarded me with $10 car cash for sharing my review on Google, I had already submitted my perfect rating and I wrote this honest review myself.
There is no question that a timely pick-up at my door, and a ride in a comfortable car with a pleasant driver, hands down beats dragging three bags to the corner and attempting to hail a cab (especially at rush hour and/or in the rain) any time!

JFK was jammed up as usual and the driver called me to let me know where he was in the sea of cars. Great trip into NY. The photo was 1/100 of the jam
My return trip to JFK on 7/11 using Carmel Car and Limo was also great - the trip advised by Google maps showed red all the way to the airport. My driver AJ found a different route (which maps then picked up) and I was there in no time. Great service always
